The Chequered Cloth

Everyone loves nasturtiums. Their bright, happy flowers can brighten any room. The simplest china vase looks grand with just a handful of these flowers. Nasturtiums originate in Peru, though they are now found in most parts of the world. The plant has been so widely accepted everywhere that it is somehow hard to now accept that it has a foreign origin!
