Peach flowers outside my studio herald the coming of spring each year and each year they beckon me to paint them.
Farm Scenes
Farm scenes lend themselves to paintings. Any collection of sheds, trees, machinery and animals is interesting. Just find the right angle and a painting appears.
The Lily
The Lily makes a great subject for still life painting. Their colourful forms give rise to endless variety. Many of the lilies shown here were grown in my own garden.
Eucalypt Flowers
Beautiful eucalypt flowers bring with them the pungent smell of crushed gum leaves and that often awakens memories from earlier years.

There is something magical about the way dappled light dances through the leaves and casts patterns underneath that makes it a joy to paint.
