Heritage Farm Day 1

The Road Home
Once I moved to Brisbane (from Adelaide) I started to paint in watercolour with Frank De Silva’s classes. However after a few years I moved on to acrylics and finally discovered the magic of oil paint. Fungus attack is the chief disadvantage of watercolours in the humid atmosphere of Brisbane. Watercolours should be deframed and inspected for foxing every few years, that is my reason for moving on to oils. I have selected some watercolour paintings for this post after looking back through my photos, I hope you enjoy seeing them.
