Student Days

Everyone has to start somewhere. Long ago, while still a teenager, I joined the Elizabeth Art Group in South Australia. Some of the paintings in this blog were from those times. While there is a variety of styles and mediums used, it is possible to see my leaning towards some subjects that still interest me today. One of the paintings is of a busy market scene and I have painted many market scenes since then. Similarly, I also showed an interest in Still Life in these early paintings. Many of these student pieces also show my taste for bold colours.
