This post I have concentrated on paintings with an oriental flavour. The flowers are parochial, but the background is Asian. The flowers are from my garden, my suburb or very nearby; but the context in which they feature in the paintings is Eastern. Just like the whole of Australia, as it is situated in an Asian context.
