Light from a Window
I’m attracted windows because I like painting light and shade. In my still life studies the strong light comes from a spotlight, but the light from windows casts shadows into a room in the same way. For me, the shadows fill the painting and connect one object to another and help keep the composition tight. Light from a window makes a house into a home.
