Light from a Window
Light coming in a window gives a room a warm, positive atmosphere of love and contentment. Light from a window makes a house into a home.
On the Shelf
Most of my still life paintings of shelves are set at eye level so that the displayed wares can be easily seen.
Veranda
A sunny veranda looking out over a tropical garden has inspired many of my paintings. We would all like to have the time to relax in such a comfortable spot.
Enamelware
A collection of brightly-coloured enamel pieces lifts the mood of any room. I enjoy painting these arrangements as it lifts my mood also.
Brisbane Houses
Brisbane has many charming and quirky early houses. They make for great subject matter for painting.
Lemons in Still Life
I use lemons in still life paintings to contrast with the many blue objects that I paint. Blue is my favourite colour and lemons make an obvious counterpoint.
Beaches

I enjoy sketching and painting horses. They are patient animals and will stand still for easy sketching.
