In December 2008 I received first prize in the still life section of the D’Arcy Doyle Art Award for ‘Zig Zag Wattle’ (Oil on Lead Priming, 87 by 46 cm).
Over the past 3 years of this competition, I have been honoured with two first prizes and a second prize.
I am pictured here in the left photo with Dr Peter Ochsenbein to my right (Prize Donor), and Mr Earle Hinschen (Award Convener) on the far right.
In the right photo I am pictured in front of the winning painting, being congratulated by State member Dianne Reilly MP.
