Queensland Pergolas

What could be more typical of the Queensland lifestyle than a pergola. The climate here is conducive to outdoor entertaining and that goes hand in hand with a pergola. We might not have daylight saving here in Queensland, but we make up for that in the quality of our entertainment areas and the quantity of perfect weather that is typical of this good state!

Note that the attached paintings are of good, solid, Queensland perGOALers, they are definitely not perGALAHS. We don’t allow any of those to try to creep into Queensland from the southern states! The title “perGOALer” has a protected status and a structure can only be so called if originates from its designated home region – Queensland. The French might have the sole right to use the name Champagne, but for an outdoor entertainment structure to claim the status of a proper perGOALer, it must originate in Queensland! So as you look at the attached paintings, call to mind the good times you have spent in pergolas all over Queensland.
