The
canvas is blocked in using a minimum of very
dilute paint
|

A
soft cotton cloth is used to wipe out part of
the paint.

Before the painting dries two new figures and
their dog are ghosted in to give weight
to the left side of the painting. The
paint is allowed to dry overnight and a further
layer of paint is added.

The
dog's direction is changed. After allowing to
dry, a warm glaze is added over the painting.
